Salary: £18,000pa (£20,000 following probation)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm (1 hour lunch)

Bristow & Hardy is a digital marketing agency specialising in recruitment marketing. Based in Spinningfields, Manchester, Bristow & Hardy assist a variety of recruitment agencies and internal recruitment teams across the UK by delivering various digital marketing campaigns.

The services we offer our clients include Social Media Marketing, Website Development, Search Engine Optimisation, Pay-Per-Click, Video Production, Email Marketing, Marketing Materials and more. Through offering such services to our client base, we are able to assist Recruiters with candidate attraction, client attraction, internal recruitment and more.

Established in 2018, Bristow & Hardy have grown to a team of 10, across two main departments – Servicing & Business Development.

Our Business Development team is responsible for ensuring new partnerships are made with recruitment companies, understanding our clients’ requirements and confirming budgets. Our Servicing team is responsible for ensuring that the service runs smoothly to the highest possible standard, whilst ensuring high-level retention rates across the business.

About the position:

As a Social Media Marketing Executive, you will be joining the servicing side of Bristow & Hardy, working closely with our Social Media team as we continue to grow as a business. Reporting to Ella Stringer (Social Media Manager) and Sam Hardy (Director).

You will support the delivery of effective social media marketing campaigns for Bristow & Hardy’s client base, whilst building your skills within this fast-growing recruitment marketing agency. During which, you will be responsible for managing and running a variety of our clients’ social media accounts, producing content, growing following and improving engagement.

The successful candidate must be a self-starting team player who is confident working within a small business environment and able to work without close supervision. They must be exceptionally creative, with strong written and English skills and be able to demonstrate excellent experience in design, creative writing and thinking. Your campaigns will assist our clients in finding new candidates, new clients, improving staff retention and improving our client’s social media marketing in general.

At Bristow & Hardy, you will become a part of our growing team where you will have the ability to learn and grow your skillset whilst also being introduced to a variety of different businesses within the UK Employment Sector. As a result of this, you may be expected to attend meetings both internally and externally where you may have to discuss digital marketing to our clients. However, until you feel comfortable in doing so on your own, you will be joined by a member of the Bristow & Hardy team.

Skillset & competencies:

Unless otherwise specified, the below are desired, but not essential.

  • Strong written English skills (essential)
  • Eye for detail & design / creative flare (essential)
  • Graphic design experience
  • Exposure to Photoshop
  • Exposure to Canva
  • Exposure to Trello and/or Teamwork
  • Experience with Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong time-keeping skills, with the ability to hit deadlines (essential)
  • Agile style of working with the ability to switch between tasks (essential)
